Lauren and Oliver are tying the knot at the beautiful, world famous Kew Gardens, in their stunning Orangery. For such an amazing venue, they naturally wanted a bespoke stationery design, something to denote the natural surroundings, the elegance of the Orangery and their neutral palette.
Having provided a set of ideas focussed on the striking windows, trees in the surrounding grounds and patterns reminiscent of the Orangery’s 18th Century heritage, we were delighted that they chose these leafy lovelies for their final design.
With such a simply elegant design, the typography became all important, we arrived at a subtle and stunning sans serif in a block set.
The format was also bespoke, an idea of Lauren’s, to include a pocket on the reverse of the invite itself, to include various cards including guest information, menu, RSVP and return envelope and two maps, making a neat and compact set.
The envelopes were printed and lined with a bespoke pattern which mirrors the tiled floor of the Orangery. A subtle clue to the interior of the venue.
We love the understated grace of the finished article and think it is the perfect set for such a beautiful venue. So we were thrilled when Lauren and Oliver returned for day items to match, including dining cards and a menu-place name-order of service combined and all personalised for each guest.
